EU for national aquaculture platform in Bangladesh

The European Union yesterday called for establishing a national aquaculture platform in the country to further develop the sector as well as address the challenges of seafood security issues.

The call was made at a consultative workshop organised by the delegation of the EU to Bangladesh in the capital.

The workshop, which was aimed to explore the potential for EU-Bangladesh cooperation in the aquaculture sector, mainly focused on challenges and interests in seafood security issues in Europe and Asia.
