Exhibition on Dhaka city's unplanned urbanisation held at Curzon Hall

A daylong exhibition "Urban Hours" mirroring the unplanned urbanisation which is spoiling the scenic beauty of Dhaka city was held at Curzon Hall of Dhaka University yesterday.

"Back Art", a Bangladeshi artist group, organised the exhibition where 20 artists from Brazil, India and Bangladesh participated with photos, paintings and sculptures to exhibit the traffic system, backward sewer system design, political instability, air pollution and many other daily problems that the city suffers from.

The artists proposed different approaches on "urban development" to reclaim Dhaka which has its own glorious history.
