Fire guts valuables of five houses in Chittagong

Fire gutted valuables, worth Tk 3 lakh, of five houses in Hathazari upazila of Chittagong early yesterday.
The fire that originated from an oven in a house at Ishan Mohajan Bari, soon spread to the adjacent houses around 2:45am; said Fire Service officials.
Fire fighters from Hathazari Fire Service rushed to the spot and doused the blaze around 4:10am, the officials said.
