Gazipur lightning kills 2, injures 2

Two people were killed and two others injured by lightning in Naojor area of Gazipur city yesterday.

Locals said the deceased -- Jewel, 28, and Obaidul, 28, -- and the injured -- Aman Uddin, 20, and Jony, 28, -- were going to play football when lightning struck on them.

They were rushed to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital where doctors declared Jewel and Obaidul dead.
