Girl 'gang raped' in Habiganj

A teenage girl was allegedly gang raped in her house of Chunarughat upazila in Habiganj early Thursday.

Mother of the 13-year-old girl, who is a sixth-grader, sued two youths Anu Miah, 20, and Foisol Miah, 21, in this connection yesterday.

The two broke open the door of the house in the absence of her parents and raped her, Officer-in-Charge of Chunarughat Police Station Nirmalendu Chakrabaty quoted the girl as saying. The girl was sent to a local hospital for medical test. The OC said they were trying to arrest the accused who were on the run.
