Hunger strike of two depts continues

Fifteen students and two teachers of computer science and engineering (CSE) and geological sciences departments of Jahangirnagar University continued observing a fast-unto-death programme protesting a decision of the authorities to move the environmental sciences department into their building. 

Claiming the building is not big enough for all three departments, they began their protest on Saturday after the syndicate last Thursday decided on the transfer.

Meanwhile, a meeting among all three departments and the university authorities yesterday could not reach a decision regarding the crisis. Another meeting is scheduled for today.
