Icecream factories, house catch fire

Fire gutted valuables, worth Tk 8 lakh, of two ice-cream factories and a house in Pahartali area of Chittagong city yesterday.

The fire, originated from an electric short circuit in an ice-cream factory at No-3 Rail Gate, soon spread to the adjacent factory and tin-roofed house, said Agrabad Fire Service Control Room. On information, fire fighters rushed there and doused the blaze after an hour.
