JS body for developing railway clinic systems

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Railways Ministry at a meeting yesterday discussed the progress of implementation of Chittagong-CUET (Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology) rail project and a comprehensive report on purchasing machinery parts of OTM and LTM of BISIC and some other institutions.

The committee meeting was informed that all-out measures were taken for developing clinic systems in railways as per the model of developed countries.

The committee at its 16th meeting also formed a development monitoring committee to oversee the recent progress of the "train toilet waste management" in railways and took a decision to inspect the proposed Khulna-Mongla railway track and Khulna and Darshana rail stations.
