Kafco renovates jetty in Ctg

The Karnaphuli Fertiliser Company Ltd (Kafco) renovated a jetty and walkway to cross the Karnaphuli River from Chittagong city to Anwara upazila.

CCC mayor AJM Nasir Uddin inaugurated the jetty on Wednesday where Kafco Chief Executive Officer Dr Toufiq was present. Kafco financed and supervised the repair work spending Tk 45 lakh as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity, said Kafco officials. The renovation of the 81-metre walkway and jetty started in December, 2015 and took three months to complete.
