Khokon lays foundation stone of Shahbagh footbridge with escalator

Dhaka South City Corporation Mayor Sayeed Khokon yesterday laid the foundation stone to construct a foot overbridge with escalator facility at Shahbagh yesterday.

The overbridge will be constructed under the Clean Air and Sustainable Environment project funded by the World Bank, says a press release. Khokon at the programme urged the mass media to play an effective role in building awareness among people to use foot overbridges for reducing traffic accidents.
