Lightning kills 3 in Sunamganj

Three people were killed when a bolt of lightning struck them while they were collecting coal near the Jadukata river at Maingaon village in Tahirpur upazila of Sunamganj on Thursday evening.

The dead, Jamaluddin, 35, Abdur Razzak, 40, and Al Amin, 14, hailed from the upazila, said Tahirpur police who sent the bodies to sadar hospital for autopsies.
