Mahfuzul Haq no more

Ahmed Mahfuzul Haq, a writer and publisher, breathed his last at Ali Asgar Hospital in the capital on Thursday. He was 72.

He was suffering from Covid-19 and pneumonia.

Haq, founder director of the Creative Publishers Guild in Bangladesh and former publications director of National University, was buried at Banani Graveyard on Friday, family sources said.

He played a significant role in their family business, Mawla Brothers, a leading printing and publishing company.
