Mahmooda Saeed dies

Khandker Mahmooda Saeed, wife of telecommunication expert Abu Saeed Khan, breathed her last at a Bangkok hospital yesterday. She was 68, says a press release.

She had been suffering from cancer for the last few months.

Mahmooda left behind a son and host of relatives and admirers.

Her funeral will be held at her father's residence in Islampur village of Tangail on Thursday.

Relatives, friends and well-wishers are requested to pray for the salvation of the departed soul.
