Man to die for killing friend in Ctg

A Chittagong court yesterday gave death penalty to a man for killing his friend in 2011.
The court also fined Md Jahed Mahmud, 26, Tk 10,000, said public prosecutor Fakhruddin Chowdhur.
Jahed invited his friend Kafil Uddin, a second year student of computer science at International Islamic University Chittagong, to join a feast at a cafe in the city's Lalkhan Bazar on December 18, 2011. Later, Jahed stabbed Kafil to death to get his laptop and money after he called him out of the café to a hillock near a mosque for a chitchat, said court sources.
