Man dies from electrocution in Savar

A man died after being electrocuted at Zirabo in Ashulia, outside the capital, yesterday.

The deceased was Lal Chan Sarker, 40, a resident of Saipara and a carpenter by profession.

Police said Lal Chan came in contact with an electric wire hanging from an electric pole while he was working on a tin-roofed house.

He was rushed to a local hospital where doctors declared him dead.
