Man held with 3.6kg gold at airport

Customs officials detained a man with 31 gold bars weighing 3.6kg at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital yesterday.
Mohammad Didar, son of Alam Abdul of Keraniganj, was captured after he had arrived in Dhaka from Saudi Arabia by a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight at 3:05pm, said SM Sohel Rahman, joint commissioner of Customs at the airport.
