Man held with yaba at Chattogram airport

A man was arrested with 10,800 pieces of yaba pills at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram  city tonight.

The arrestee was identified as Mohammad Yunus, said Wing Commander Sarwar-E-Jahan, manager of Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram.

Sarwar said Yunus was supposed to go for Umrah Hajj with a flight of Air Arabia at 10:30pm.

“During scanning, the airport officials found 10,800 pieces of yaba tablets from his bags”, he said.

A case was lodged with Patentga Police Station in this connection and the arrestee  was handed over to the police station.
