Mozammel Haque Khan gets highest Indian scout award

Mozammel Haque Khan, senior secretary to the home ministry, has received the highest award of Bharat Scouts and Guides, The Silver Elephant, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to international scouting.

Indian President Pranab Mukherjee handed over the award to Mozammel, also chief national commissioner of Bangladesh Scouts, in New Delhi on February 16, said a press release of Bangladesh Scouts yesterday.

Mozammel was also honoured with "Tamaru Award of the Philippines" last year and with "Silver Tiger", the highest award of Bangladesh Scouts, in 2008.
