New Dhaka mayors join offices

New Dhaka South City Corporation Mayor Sayeed Khokon and Dhaka North City Corporation Mayor Annisul Huq joined their offices yesterday.

To hear from the city dwellers regarding their problems, Khokon will hold a dialogue with them soon, he announced.

He met the newly elected ward councilors in his office. Later, in the afternoon he had a meeting with the chiefs of different departments.

On the first day, Annisul spent about three hours at his office having introduction with the staff.

Meanwhile, the authorities withdrew DSCC Administrator Md Shawkat Mostafa and DNCC Administrator Rakhal Chandra Barman, an official of Local Government and Engineering Department confirmed it.
