No unfit river vessel: Minister

Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan yesterday told the parliament that as far as he knows there is no unfit river vessel in the country.

"A project has been launched to conduct a survey on river vessels to be sure whether there is any unfit vessel in the country," the minister said in a scripted reply.
