None arrested yet over Ctg double murder, case filed

Police till yesterday could not arrest the alleged accused of the double murder occurred in Finringi Bazar area of Chittagong city on Tuesday night.

Meanwhile, victim Asma Begum's elder brother Jubayer lodged a case accusing Asma's husband Md Hridoy, who is on the run, said Sub-Inspector of Kotwali Police Station Shampa Hazari.

On Tuesday night, Hridoy strangled Asma to death allegedly over her extramarital affair with her uncle. Later, coming outside home, Hridoy found Maksudur Rahman, the uncle, at a nearby tea stall and stabbed him to death, said police.
