Obituary

Eaqub Ali Chowdhury alias Badsha Chowdhury, a former lawmaker of Patuakhali-3 constituency, died due to kidney disease at his house in Kharijjoma village under Galachipa upazila of the district yesterday morning. He was 80.

Founder of Kharijjoma College, he left behind four sons and two daughters to mourn his death.

He will be buried in his family graveyard today noon, family members said.
