Lutfe Jahan Chowdhury, son of late Sarwar Jahan Chowdhury of Feni's Massimpur, died from a stroke in London on July 27, aged 74.

Popularly known as Luddie Chowdhury, Lutfe was one of few Bangalees who first visited war-ravaged Bangladesh in February, 1972 with a temporary British passport, says a press release.

He was an organiser of Mymensingh chapter of Mukul Fouj andMukul Fouj High School, and was also associated with innumerable social and charitable organisations.

A doa mahfil will held soon to pray for the salvation of the departed soul.
