Obituary

Achinta Dasgupta, a development researcher, died due to respiratory complications at Bangladesh Medical College Hospital in the capital on Sunday. He was 66. He was cremated on Sunday night at Sabujbagh crematorium.

He also worked in Daily Ganokantha and the Daily People as a journalist. Later, he joined Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies.
