Patuakhali Sramik Dal leader found dead in Barguna

A Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal leader was found dead in Khontakata area of Amtali upazila town in Barguna district yesterday.

Mizanur Rahman alias Babul Khondakar, 40, vice-president of the Dal's Patuakhali district unit and also a contractor, set out for his sister's house in Amtali upazila town on Thursday but did not reach there, said his family.

There was a mark in the neck suggesting strangulation, said police on sending the body to Barguna General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
