Poet Mahadev Saha hospitalised in Canada

Poet Mahadev Saha has been admitted to Rockyview General Hospital in Calgary, Canada, with lung and heart complications on last Friday.

The renowned poet, also a journalist, has requested all to pray for his early recovery.

Mahadev Saha authored 55 books of poetry, four of essay, one volume of selected poems and three for children.

He is the recipient of Ekushey Padak, Bangla Academy Award, Zebunnesa-Mahabubullah Award, Khalekdad Chowdhury Smriti Padak and Saadat Ali Akhand Award.
