Prioritisation missing in budget: State Minister

State Minister for Finance M A Mannan today said prioritisation is completely missing in the budget for 2015-16 fiscal.

The minister made the remark at a post budget analysis organised by the Centre for Policy Dialogue at Lake Shore Hotel in the capital city.

Budget is also hugely misused in Bangladesh, which the minister termed a 'systematic misuse'.

The state minister for finance's criticism was applauded by the discussants at the programme as it is rare for a minister of the ruling party leader to pass such a comment on the government of Bangladesh.
