Pro-AL panel sweeps Tangail Bar polls

Awami League-backed Sommilito Ainjibi Somonnoy Parishad candidates won 13 out of 17 posts, including president and secretary, in Tangail Bar Association polls.

BNP backed Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Oikya panel candidates won the rest four posts.

Total 630 voters cast their votes at the Bar Association office in the court area from 9:00am to 5:00pm on Thursday and the result was declared at 10:00pm.

The elected president and secretary are Mohammad Multan Uddin and Mohsin Sikder.
