Road crashes kill four in capital

Four people were killed in separate road accidents in the capital yesterday and Sunday.

In Uttar Badda, Nazrul Islam, 23, was killed when a truck hit his motorcycle on Pragati Sarani on Sunday.

In Bangshal Mahuttuli area, Mohammad Shohag, 20, was run over by a truck yesterday.

On Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue, a 35-year-old vegetable vendor was killed when a vehicle hit him while he was crossing the road in front of Hotel Super Star.

Meanwhile, an unidentified man, aged around 30, was also killed after he was hit by a vehicle in front of Shaheb Ali Madrasa.
