Road crashes kill two, injure three

A five-year-old boy was killed as a truck ran him over on Bhomra-Alipur road in Dhalipara of Satkhira Sadar yesterday.

The deceased was Masum Billah, son of Zaber Ali.

Locals said Masum was working with his mother in front of their home when the incident occurred. The truck driver Raihan, 25, was held and handed over to police.

In Thakurgaon, Mohbul Haque, 22, of Amjoyan village was killed and three people were injured when a bus hit an auto-rickshaw carrying them on Baliadangi-Ranishankoil road near Kakthali Bazar in Baliadangi upazila on Wednesday night.
