S Asian confce on sanitation ends
The 6th South Asian Conference on Sanitation (SACOSAN) concluded yesterday with a commitment to ensure adequate and equitable sanitation and hygiene for all by 2030.
The three-day conference was organised by Bangladesh at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre.
With the slogan "Better Sanitation, Better Life", more than 500 delegates and participants from different corners of South Asia, except Pakistan, attended the event.
The delegates of South Asian countries also made a commitment to prioritise menstrual hygiene management for women and girls.
LGRD and Cooperatives Minister Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain attended the closing ceremony.
