SCC councillor suspended

Sylhet City Corporation's women city councillor Diba Rani Dey Babli was suspended by the Ministry of Local Government yesterday.

She was the councilor for ward 13, 14 and 15. SCC Chief Executive Enamul Habib confirmed the suspension.

Quoting the ministry order, he said as court received three cases filed with Sylhet Kotwali Police Station against the councilor; the ministry temporarily suspended her.
