Six-year-old girl falls to death in capital

A six-year-old girl died after falling from the rooftop of a six-storey building at Banogram in the capital's Wari yesterday evening.

Sadia Moni, 6, was the daughter of motor workshop owner Billal Hossain, who resides in the building. Sadia was a nursery student at Taherbagh Model School in the area.

Sadia's uncle Nasir Hossain said she fell from the roof after she went there to play.

Seriously injured Sadia was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors announced her dead.

Officer-in-Charge of Wari Police Station Zihad Hossain said they were investigating the matter.
