Syed Tanveer passes away

Former secretary Syed Tanveer Hussain passed away on Tuesday from prolonged illness, says a press release. His namaz-e-janaza was held on the same day and he was laid to rest alongside his parents and brother. 

Syed Tanveer served as the secretary to the ministries of planning, housing, textiles, and environment and forests, according to his professional profile on LinkedIn. He also worked as a consultant for the World Bank.

He is survived by his wife and two daughters. His qulkhwani will be held  on Saturday after Asr prayers at Gulshan Azad mosque.
