Tk 240cr deal for flyover signed

A four-lane flyover will be built at Bhulta Bazar on Dhaka-Sylhet highway to ease traffic at the busy intersection of four different routes.

The Roads and Highways Department (RHD) yesterday inked a Tk 240 crore deal with a joint venture of three companies in a Dhaka hotel yesterday.

Chief Engineer of RHD Feroz Iqbal and a representative of the joint venture, Wang Wei, signed the deal.

Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader was present at the ceremony.

The flyover will be built in two years with the government's own fund, said a press release.
