Two killed in Dhaka wall collapse

Two children were killed and another was injured as a portion of the boundary wall of an orphanage and madrasa fell on them in Nawabganj of Dhaka yesterday afternoon.

The deceased were Rahat, 8, and Hassan, 7, said Abul Bashar, sub-inspector of Nawabganj Police Station.

Ratul, 7, is undergoing treatment in a local hospital, the SI said.

The rickety wall collapsed when four children were playing outside Banduria Alamin Yatimkhana and Madrasa, he said, adding that they were investigating it.
