Woman found dead with throat slit in Noakhali

Police recovered the slit-throat body of a woman in South Char Clark village under Subarnachar upazila of Noakhali yesterday.

The deceased was Najma Begum, 40, wife of Feroz Alam of the area.

Officer-in-Charge of Char Jabbar Police Station Nizam Uddin, quoting locals, said Nazma was sleeping in her house. In the morning locals saw her body as the door was open.

The body was sent to Noakhali General Hospital for autopsy. A case was filed.
