Zakaria Swapan new pro-VC of BSMMU

Prof ASM Zakaria Swapan has been appointed as the pro-Vice Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) for three years.

President Abdul Hamid, also the chancellor of the university made the appointment on Thursday evening.

Swapan, a professor of the department of skin and dermatology at BSMMU, will join the office today. He was the BSMMU proctor from 2009 to 2015, says a press release.
