2 Jamaat leaders arrested

Police in separate drives arrested two rokon members of Jamaat-e-Islami from Keshabpur upazila of Jessore on Wednesday. They are Rezaul Islam, 42, and Ayub Ali, 40, of Mirzanagar village in the upazila. Officer-in-Charge Shahidul Islam of Keshabpur Police Station said a team of the lae enforcers, acting on a tip-off, conducted drives in different areas and arrested the two leaders from their houses on Wednesday night. The two were arrested on charge of planning subversive activities, the OC added.
