4 fake journos held

Police arrested four fake journalists from different areas in the district town on Monday night. The arrestees are Mehedi Hasan Bacchu, 25, son of Abdul Maleque Sharif of Uttar Kabai village in Bakerganj upazila of Barisal district, Md Arifur Rahman, 28, son of Shahjahan Hawlader of Rajnagar village in Baufal upazila of Patuakhali, Subhash Chandra Shil, 25, son of Haralal Roy, and Shamim Hawlader, 24, son of Abul Hawlader of Itbaria village in Patuakhali Sadar upazila. The arrestees were produced before a court that sent them to jail yesterday, said SM Tariqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Patuakhali Police Station.
