Arms peddler arrested

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested an arms peddler with one foreign made pistol, four bullets and one magazine at Adatala village in Bholahat upazila of the district yesterday. The arrestee is Mohammad Yeakub, 35, son of Mohammad Morsalin of Jinna Nagar village. On secret information, a team of Rab-5 raided a mango orchard around 11:30am and arrested Yeakub with the firearm and bullets.
