Arms trader arrested

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested an alleged arms trader with two foreign made pistols, four magazines and 10 bullets from Koilabari area in Shibganj upazila yesterday. The arrestee is Benzir Alam, 20, son of Rafiqul Islam of Upar Chakpara area. On secret information, the elite force raided the area and arrested Benzir with the firearms and bullets, said ASP Nure Alam of Chapainawabganj Rab camp. Later, the arrestee was handed over to police. A case was filed under Arms Act.
