Barisal Judge Court flooded

The compound of Barisal District and Sessions Judge's Court gets flooded with water from the nearby pond on the premises of Barisal St. Peter's Church yesterday as the work for filling up the 52-decimal water body sped up after attack on a human chain of the Christian community people allegedly by a group of lawyers on Saturday.

Fifteen people including ten women were injured in the attack on the human chain held in protest at the bid to grab the pond excavated on the church premises in 1849.
