BGB destroys drugs

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) destroyed 30,067 bottles of phensidyl, 1,069 bottles of liquor, nine kilograms of cannabis, 640 grams of heroin, 18,120 ampoules of sedative injection and 12 Yaba tablets in the district town yesterday. The border guards in separate drives seized the drugs from different areas in the district in the last one month, said Lt Col Abu Zafor Sheikh Mohammad Bazlul Haque, commanding officer of BGB-9 Battalion.
