Bid to abduct schoolgirl, two held

Local people caught two abductors red handed when they made an attempt to kidnap a schoolgirl in Munshiganj Sadar upazila yesterday.

They were identified as Pappu Bhuiyan and Mamun.

Witnesses said, a gang of 7/8 forced the victim, a Class X student of Bakultola High School, into a microbus while she was going to school in the morning.

As she shouted for help, local people rushed to the spot and caught the two while the others managed to flee.
