Bridge on Dhaka-Rangpur highway to remain closed on Aug 12

Vehicular movement through Damdama Bridge on Dhaka-Rangpur highway will remain closed for eight hours from 10:00pm on August 12 (the day of Eid-ul-Azha) for maintenance work.

People have been asked to use Rangpur (terminal)- Badarganj- Madhyapara- Mithapukur route instead of Dhaka (Mirpur)-Uthuli-Kashinathpur-Bogura-Banglabandha highway, according to a press release of Rangpur Roads and Highways Department.

The maintenance work will take place in the middle of Rangpur and Mithapukur, the press release said.
