Construction worker dies

A construction worker died when a large portion of a boundary wall collapsed on him in Kalinath Rayer Bazar area of Bhola municipality yesterday. The deceased is Nurunnobi, 45, son of late Bachchu Mollah of Algi village in Sadar upazila. Mobassir Ali, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said Nurunnobi was demolishing the boundary wall of one Fazlul Kader Majnu Mollah in the area and suddenly a big chunk of plaster fell on him. He was rushed to Bhola Sadar Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
