Drug addict found dead

Police recovered the body of a drug addict from Kalipur area in the district town yesterday morning. The deceased is Mohammad Shakil, 17, son of Samsul Hossain of Dighulia area in the town. Locals found the body hanging from a jackfruit tree in the area and informed the police who sent it to Tangail Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. The victim's father said they tied Shakil to a tree at the house on Sunday night as he was a drug addict. But his body was found in Kalipur area, he added. Police suspected that Shakil committed suicide.
