Hearing on Ananta murder case deferred
A Sylhet court yesterday deferred the hearing on the blogger Ananta Bijoy Das murder case to November 4.
Judge Anwarul Haque of Sylhet Metropolitan Magistrate's Court passed the order as the documents relating to the case have not been handed over to the court from the Session Judge's court.
Blogger Ananta, also an activist of Sylhet Gonojagoron Mancha, was hacked to death on May 12 by a gang of masked men in Subidbazar Bankalapara are in the city.
Ratneshwar Das, elder brother of the victim, filed a case with Sylhet Airport Police Station on May 13, accusing some unidentified assailants.
