Human trafficker held in Teknaf

Police arrested a human trafficker from Sabrang area in Teknaf upazila of the district early yesterday.

The arrestee was identified as Abdur Rahim, 45, son of Naju Mian of Nayapara area under Sabrang union.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Ataur Rahman of Teknaf Police Station said law enforcers, acting on a tip-off, raided the area at around 1:15am and arrested Rahim.

He was wanted in a case relating to human trafficking with the police station.
